Commercial vehicle safety the focus of three-day operation
Regional partners host commercial vehicle inspections in Leduc County
June 3, 2014 – Leduc County Enforcement Services, in partnership with several regional law enforcement agencies, is hosting a series of commercial vehicle inspections throughout the county, to kick off today.
“There is a high volume of commercial vehicle traffic travelling throughout Leduc County and it is paramount for all motorists that we ensure compliance and promote commercial vehicle safety on our roadways,” says Clarence Nelson, director of Enforcement Services.
The three full-day operations are in support of the Alberta Transportation Safety Board’s June focus on commercial/passenger safety.
Peace officers from Leduc County as well as law enforcement representatives from Strathcona County, Wetaskiwin County, the City of Edmonton, the Town of Devon, the City of Leduc and Clearwater County are participating.
